We would love to have the opportunity to assist in making your wedding events the best that they can be. We have a beautiful site that is unlike any in Fredericksburg. With a phenomenal chef, variety of menus, and a fantastic staff, we are confident that we can take care of all of your event needs, allowing you to enjoy your special day.
The Main Level includes our Main Dining Room and two side parlors. This space is used for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and bridal parties as well. Forty Five guests can be seated for a buffet or seated dinner and seventy five guests can be accommodated for a cocktail party. The two side parlors can be rented separately to accommodate parties of eight to sixteen guests.

Our Restaurant Level consists of the Pub, Garden Room, and Sunken Patio. This space can also be used for all styles of events, but can accommodate more guests. For dining, the Garden Room can seat sixty guests, the Pub can seat twenty five, and the Patio can seat forty guests. For a cocktail party, we can accommodate a maximum of one hundred guests on this level. Our Pub and Patio can both be used for cocktailing as well as dancing. For dancing in the Garden Room, we do require that a dance floor be rented by the host. The Sunken Patio has hosted the majority of our ceremonies and can accommodate a maximum of fifty seated guests in rowed seating. Brides can enter from the stairs or from the Garden Room and vows typically take place on the brick stair platform.
We offer several different types of menus for special events that include a Heavy Hors D’oeuvres Cocktail Menu, several Buffet Menus, and Plated Dinner Menus. Factors such as the number of guests attending and the type of event you are hosting will help you decide which menu will best fit your function. We can serve up a plated dinner to up to 60 guests, a dinner buffet to a maximum of 125 guests, and we only offer the Heavy Hors D’oeuvres Cocktail Menu for those with more than 125 guests. We realize that each event is unique and we want to assist in making each guest’s event special. We encourage you to ask for a customized menu and proposal that is better pertained toward your personal taste. To make a proposal, we need to know what type of menu you are looking for, your budget, the estimated number of guests, and the type of bar you would like to have open. As soon as we receive this information, we will gladly put a proposal together and send it to you immediately!

To rent the entire house for an evening event, we do require that the host or wedding guests rent all nine guest rooms the night of the event so as not to disturb outside visitors. Each floor has a $500.00 room rental fee, but when renting the entire house, the rental fee is only $900.00. We also have a minimum bill requirement which is $8,500.00 for the use of the entire house during weekend evenings (after 4:30pm) , $5,0000.00 on Saturdays prior to 4:30pm, and $3,500.00 Sunday through Thursday. This simply means that the entire food, alcohol, rental fee, tax, and gratuity must all meet or exceed the minimum requirement. When renting individual floors, the Main Floor has no minimum bill requirement. The downstairs minimum requirement is $5,000.00 during the weekend evenings, $2,500.00 on Saturdays prior to 4:30pm, and $2,000.00 Sunday through Thursday.
